Your documents stay on your device.

Most online resizers upload your photo, signature and thumb impression to their servers. Together, those are exactly what someone would need to impersonate you on an application form.

This tool works differently. All resizing and compression runs locally in your browser. No image is sent to a server, nothing is stored, and no account is needed. When you close the tab, nothing remains.

You can verify this yourself: once the page has loaded, switch on airplane mode. The tool keeps working.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The resizer runs entirely inside your browser using your device's own processor. Your photo is never sent to a server, never stored and never seen by us. Once the page has loaded you can switch on airplane mode and it keeps working.

My form needs at least 20 KB but the file comes out smaller. What do I do?

Nothing: the resizer handles it. Small images such as a 140 × 60 signature are naturally only a few KB. When a form sets a minimum, the resizer saves at top quality and, if that's still too small, pads the JPG with harmless filler data inside the file. The picture is unchanged and the file meets the limit.

Does 50 KB mean 50,000 or 51,200 bytes?

Portals don't agree, so the resizer aims inside both readings: under the maximum counted in thousands, and over the minimum counted in 1,024s. A file shown as 20–50 KB here passes either way.

My notice gives the size in cm. How many pixels is that?

Pixels = centimetres ÷ 2.54 × DPI. At 200 DPI, 3.5 × 4.5 cm is 276 × 354 pixels; at 300 DPI it is 413 × 531. Choose Custom, pick cm and type the size: the resizer converts it and writes the DPI into the file so it prints at the right size.

Why does a portal still reject my photo?

Check three things: the file type (most portals want JPG, not PNG or HEIC), the pixel size and the KB range. The checklist under the download button shows all three. If they match and it still fails, the notice may have changed: compare with the latest one and use Custom.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes, in any modern browser on Android, iPhone, Windows or Mac. On iPhone, if a photo won't open, set Camera › Formats to Most Compatible or share the photo as a JPEG first.
